Job description
Performance Systems Analyst role within HR focused on designing, implementing, and monitoring performance management systems to drive employee productivity and align individual performance with organizational goals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining structured Performance Management Systems (PMS) that support goal setting, appraisal cycles, and continuous performance tracking across the organization. The position involves partnering with department heads to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Result Areas (KRAs), ensuring all objectives are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound). The analyst leads annual or bi-annual performance appraisal cycles including goal-setting sessions, mid-year reviews, and year-end evaluations while ensuring adherence to timelines and organizational standards. The role includes providing training and coaching support to managers through communication toolkits and guidance on delivering constructive feedback and conducting effective performance reviews. Responsibilities also include identifying underperforming employees and collaborating with managers to design, implement, and monitor Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs). The position requires analyzing performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities while presenting actionable insights to senior leadership. The analyst facilitates calibration sessions to ensure fairness, consistency, and equity in performance ratings across departments. The role requires strong HRIS expertise, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, understanding of HR transformation processes, and knowledge of Saudi labor regulations and market practices while ensuring alignment between performance systems and organizational strategy.

- Design and maintain structured Performance Management Systems (PMS) that support goal setting, appraisal cycles, and continuous performance tracking across the organization

- Support HRIS system management and reporting by ensuring accurate performance data tracking, system optimization, and alignment with HR transformation initiatives
Experience & skills
- Hold Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field with strong understanding of HR systems and processes
- Demonstrate 3–6+ years of experience in HR process engineering, HR transformation, or HR systems optimization roles
- Exhibit strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for performance data analysis and reporting
- Maintain experience working with HRIS systems including SAP, Oracle, or other HR and compensation management software platforms
- Demonstrate knowledge of KPI, KRA, and OKR frameworks including SMART goal setting methodologies and performance alignment practices
- Exhibit familiarity with Saudi labor law and local market HR practices and performance management standards
- Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills for stakeholder engagement, coaching managers, and delivering HR guidance
- Show ability to design performance systems, conduct data analytics, and support strategic alignment of HR performance initiatives
