Job description
Aldar's Corporate Strategy and Transformation function relies on this Senior Associate, EPMO role to drive successful implementation of the EPMO team's strategy, services and deliverables. You establish frameworks and standards for Project and Program Management, supporting the end-to-end identification, development, prioritization and implementation of the organization's highest impact and most strategic projects and programs. Methodologies, tools and organizational structures all get built out to manage initiatives consistently, with prioritization kept aligned to overall strategy. Key steps and milestones for implementing initiatives get determined in coordination with Business Owners, and interdependencies between initiatives get identified so risks and escalations can be managed at both the singular and aggregate level. Project progress, achievements, interdependencies, risks and challenges all get reported to Management on a regular basis. EPMO manpower gets managed across initiatives, with regular planning and allocation keeping resourcing on track. Quality, performance reports and Quality Assurance reviews cover all initiative deliverables and outputs, while change requests get managed and monitored against approved policies. Training needs for initiative teams get defined and recommended, with course effectiveness tracked over time. Ad hoc strategic and special business projects also fall within scope, alongside research and analysis conducted in collaboration with the Strategy team.
