Job description
Meraki Group seeks a Project Engineer - Electrical to manage electrical projects from kick-off to completion across UAE/MENA construction environments, ensuring compliance with industry specifications, local regulations, DEWA standards, and safety protocols. The role oversees planning, design, and execution of electrical systems; reviews and interprets project specifications, drawings, and technical documents; coordinates with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, clients, and internal teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly; monitors progress against milestones and quality standards; prepares cost estimates, BOQs, material requisitions, and schedules; conducts site inspections and oversees commissioning; supports procurement with material submittals; and prepares progress reports and documentation for project management and stakeholders. Proficiency with project management software and AutoCAD, strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced contracting environment are essential.

- Prepare progress reports and maintain technical documentation for project management and stakeholders
- Support the procurement team with BOQs, material submittals, and supplier coordination
Experience & skills
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience on UAE/MENA construction projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, applicable codes, and standards
- Proficiency with project management software and AutoCAD
- Excellent problem-solving capability and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced contracting environment
