Job description
The Stem Cell Technologist/Technician role delivers advanced preparation, processing, and analysis of cellular therapy products, including hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs), within a regulated clinical laboratory environment. The position safeguards specimen integrity and patient safety by adhering to regulatory standards and protocols, maintaining rigorous quality control and quality assurance practices, and ensuring complete documentation and traceability. The technologist supports stem cell transplantation procedures through technical expertise and interdepartmental collaboration with clinical and research teams, contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, and participates in research and innovation activities aligned to laboratory governance and compliance expectations. Core domain outputs include compliant cellular therapy product processing, accurate analytical assessments, audit-ready documentation, and operational inputs that enable safe, effective transplantation and ongoing quality enhancement.

Key responsibilities
- Perform advanced preparation, processing, and analysis of cellular therapy products, including hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs)

Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, with specific exposure to stem cell or cellular therapy preferred
- DHA license or eligibility
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
