The Solutions Engineer at Splunk (a Cisco company) serves as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise clients across the UAE and Qatar markets. This role focuses on helping organizations understand the value of their data and harness it through Splunk’s industry-leading analytics, security, and observability platforms. The engineer will lead technical engagements, design proofs of concept (PoCs), and demonstrate how Splunk drives measurable business impact across sectors such as financial services, telecom, retail, and insurance. Responsibilities include crafting and delivering compelling presentations, addressing technical and competitive questions, and responding to RFI/RFP processes with persuasive technical documentation. The position requires hands-on expertise with enterprise application environments, including UNIX, Linux, and Windows systems, and familiarity with data sources such as logs, networks, and security telemetry. Candidates must also demonstrate proficiency in English and Arabic and possess experience developing ROI and business value cases. A strong understanding of the enterprise software sales landscape in the UAE and Qatar is essential, along with exposure to technologies like XML, HTML5, JavaScript, Java, .NET, and Ruby.
