The Deputy Team Leader – Home Centre in Kuwait operates within Landmark Group, one of the GCC’s largest omnichannel retail and hospitality organizations, managing over 2200 retail stores and multiple value-driven brands across the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Home Centre is the region’s largest omnichannel home furnishings retailer across the Middle East, North Africa, and the Indian sub-continent, offering more than 14,000 home furnishing products through both physical stores and a comprehensive e-commerce platform. The role supports store leadership in delivering exceptional customer experience, driving retail performance, and ensuring smooth store operations within a customer-first retail environment. The Deputy Team Leader assists in managing daily retail operations, ensuring alignment with Home Centre’s brand promise of quality products, value, and outstanding service. The position contributes to sales performance, store efficiency, and customer satisfaction by supporting merchandising, inventory control, and floor operations. The role also involves ensuring effective execution of omnichannel retail processes, integrating in-store and online customer experiences, and maintaining operational consistency across retail touchpoints. As part of a large-scale retail brand, the Deputy Team Leader plays a key role in supervising store teams, supporting customer engagement, and ensuring adherence to company standards and retail operational guidelines. The role contributes to maintaining Home Centre’s brand identity, which focuses on enabling customers to express their unique home stories through accessible and well-curated furnishings. Operating in a fast-paced retail environment, the position supports leadership in achieving commercial goals while ensuring a seamless and high-quality shopping experience for customers across Kuwait stores.

- Support store leadership in managing daily retail operations and ensuring smooth execution of store activities
- Supervise retail floor operations to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Assist in driving sales performance and achieving store-level commercial targets
- Support merchandising activities including product display, store layout, and visual presentation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management to ensure product availability
- Ensure execution of omnichannel retail processes integrating in-store and online customer experiences
- Assist in maintaining customer-first service standards aligned with Home Centre brand identity
- Support team coordination and operational execution across store staff
- Contribute to improving customer experience through active engagement and service support
- Ensure compliance with retail operational procedures and company guidelines
Experience & skills
- Experience in retail operations or store management support roles preferred
- Understanding of omnichannel retail environments and customer service operations
- Knowledge of home furnishings retail products and store merchandising practices
- Ability to supervise and support retail teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to support customer-first retail strategies
- Ability to manage store operations and support sales performance objectives
- Familiarity with inventory management and retail operational processes
- Ability to work in a structured retail environment under brand standards and guidelines
