Job description
The Broker Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for Cigna’s intermediaries, managing the end-to-end broker service process. The role focuses on building strong broker relationships, resolving enquiries efficiently, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring service delivery meets defined KPIs. The position requires proactive outreach, precise administration, high client engagement standards, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of brokers and deliver high-quality service
- Act as the dedicated account manager and maintain long-term broker relationships
- Proactively follow up on broker enquiries and ensure timely resolution
- Monitor and manage personal and team inboxes independently
- Meet service KPIs including call volumes, talk time, and first-contact resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure broker needs are addressed
- Recommend process improvements to enhance broker experience
- Organize and prioritize workflow to meet team and individual targets
- Resolve complex queries and exercise sound judgment
- Support team knowledge-sharing and goal achievement
Experience & skills
- Minimum 12 months experience in medical administration or customer service
- Proven experience handling accounts and client relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with proactive telephone outreach
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Highly organized and able to work independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- B2B experience preferred
- Fluent English required
