Job description
The First Group Hospitality is seeking a Social Media Manager to develop and implement strategies that align with marketing and business goals across its award-winning portfolio of hotels, restaurants, and leisure destinations. This role is responsible for content creation, campaign management, community engagement, and performance analysis across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The manager will act as a brand ambassador, fostering strong online communities, driving growth, and ensuring consistent brand messaging.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company's marketing and business goals
- Identify target audiences and tailor content to meet their needs and preferences
- Create, curate, and manage engaging and high-quality content across all social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Oversee the creation of visual and written content, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and messaging
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions, engaging with followers and building a strong online community
- Foster positive relationships with customers, influencers, and industry professionals
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising, to support marketing initiatives and product launches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and promotion across all channels
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights
- Utilize data to optimize content and strategy, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all social media activity reflects The First Group’s values and enhances reputation
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep the social media presence innovative and competitive
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the real estate or hospitality industry
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
