Job description
We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer for the role of Sr. Advanced Gas Technical Sales Manager within UOP Process Technologies (UPT), based at Honeywellâs Masdar City office in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will lead the development of comprehensive technical proposals and cost estimations for UOPâs gas technologies. This includes collaborating with engineering, sales, and business teams to deliver tailored, competitive technical solutions. A strong background in NGL, Acid Gas Treatment, and gas plant scheme development is critical. The role demands strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to effectively communicate complex solutions. Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Develop technically innovative solutions to sales opportunities for revamp and new units.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and business teams to create technical proposals and pricing strategies.
- Describe UOPâs solutions effectively and articulate relevant value propositions.
- Support sales to improve project economics through stakeholder collaboration and tailored technical insights.
- Lead customer interactions including bid clarifications, technical updates, and proposal reviews.
- Design proposal strategies that differentiate Honeywellâs solutions through optimization and integration.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive sales support and build stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering or Science, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong background in process engineering, simulation, and integration.
- Expertise in gas technologies, especially NGL and Acid Gas Treatment.
- Experience in technical sales, commercial roles, engineering, or R&D.
- Proficiency with simulation and process integration tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor products.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
