Job description
The Trade & FX Specialist â Business Banking implements product programs aligned to customer segment strategies and coordinates with proposition teams (including SE proposition analyst) to drive effective product sales, profitability, and market penetration across existing offerings while supporting development of new products. The role manages overall RBG SE / Micro / Neobiz FX and Trade business in conjunction with SE Account Managers, the FX Manager, and Area Managers; maintains close relationships with an assigned portfolio to secure major wallet share; focuses on product propositions across all FX transactions and related solutions to maximize revenue; and proactively drives new-to-bank business within identified target segments. Responsibilities include coaching Account Managers/RMs/VRMs to enhance FX business generation, conducting joint calls with BB Account Managers/Area Managers to assess client needs and advise accordingly, ensuring optimum weekly client calls to maximize primary transaction banking sales, arranging relevant facility approvals per client FX suitability and generating business under parameterized trade programs, and working closely with product and channel partners from RBG to maximize opportunities through regular contact, feedback, coordination and cross-referrals. The role requires informed awareness of market competition, industry practices and business-banking regulations, in-depth knowledge of SME products, services and delivery channels, and strong analytical and financial management capabilities to support trade and FX growth and execution across regions.

Experience & skills
- Preferably a management graduate with 4â5 years of relevant experience in SME/business banking products, services, and delivery channels
- 3â4 yearsâ experience in Trade and/or FX products
- Informed understanding of market competition, industry practices, and regulations for business banking
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, networking, and financial management skills
