Job description
The HR Business Partner for the Real Estate portfolio at Al-Futtaim Group is responsible for partnering with senior leaders to drive business performance through effective people management. The role translates business strategy into actionable people initiatives that deliver commercial outcomes while building a high-performing and engaged workforce. The HRBP ensures talent, organizational structure, capabilities, and culture are aligned with growth objectives and business priorities. The role works closely with Group HR and Divisional HR teams to implement Group frameworks, best practices, and HR initiatives within the Real Estate business while ensuring compliance with HR policies, UAE labour laws, and governance standards. The HR Business Partner provides practical, commercially sound, and legally compliant solutions to complex people matters, manages workforce planning, manpower budgets, organizational design, leadership pipelines, talent development, performance management, engagement, wellbeing, diversity, and Emiratisation initiatives, and represents HR professionally with all internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
- Act as a hands-on HR leader partnering with Real Estate leadership to shape and deliver the people agenda
- Influence senior leaders on people, workforce, and organizational decisions
- Design and execute business transformation and change initiatives aligned with strategy
- Lead HR projects and strategic initiatives to improve productivity, effectiveness, and employee experience
- Manage HR initiatives including recognition, performance management, engagement, and wellbeing programs
- Simplify, standardize, and improve HR processes using business needs and people data
- Design and manage organizational structures, manpower plans, and workforce budgets aligned to objectives
- Control and optimize headcount and manpower budgets to ensure commercial efficiency
- Develop data-driven workforce plans aligned with current and future business needs
- Build sustainable talent and leadership pipelines within the Real Estate portfolio
- Identify successors for critical roles and develop leaders and high-potential employees
- Drive coaching, retention, and development initiatives for key talent
- Foster a high-performance culture aligned with Al-Futtaim Real Estate and Group values
- Implement engagement, wellbeing, diversity, inclusion, and Emiratisation programs
- Ensure fair, consistent, and accountable performance management practices
- Provide workforce insights on cost, capability, attrition, risk, and performance to leaders
- Apply HR policies, labour laws, and governance frameworks consistently
- Handle employee relations cases professionally with minimal business and legal risk
Experience & skills
- Hold a degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a relevant discipline
- Possess CIPD or equivalent professional HR certification
- Demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience including HR Business Partner roles
- Demonstrate experience in real estate development or complex corporate environments
- Demonstrate proven ability to partner with senior leadership on workforce and organizational outcomes
- Demonstrate expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, and manpower budgeting
- Demonstrate proficiency in using people data to inform business decisions
