Job description
NCEMA 7000 and ISO 22301 sit at the center of this Senior Specialist, Business Continuity role at ADNOC, where you lead the development and continuous enhancement of the Group's Business Continuity Management framework. Organizational resilience against a wide range of disruptions depends on how well that framework holds up, and you serve as the Group Technical Authority (GTA) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Business Continuity across ADNOC Group. BCM strategies, policies, and governance structures get formulated and executed under your direction, aligned with ADNOC's corporate risk appetite, UAE national regulations, and international standards. Integration with enterprise risk management, crisis management, and emergency response frameworks runs through the role too, aimed at building a cohesive and proactive approach to resilience. You conduct risk assessments and Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical processes, threats, and recovery priorities, then develop and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans across ADNOC Group entities. Testing sits close to the core of the job, with failover simulations, tabletop scenarios, and other exercises designed and led to validate plan effectiveness. Group-wide BCM KPIs, indicators, and dashboards get overseen as well, with performance metrics monitored and reported to GCs CEOs and Business Line Directors (BLDs). Stakeholders across internal teams, Group Companies, government entities, and third-party partners all rely on your work to embed a culture of preparedness and ensure regulatory compliance. Coaching and mentoring Business Continuity professionals, including UAE National talent, rounds out the responsibilities of the role.
