The Sales Manager at Nour Arjaan by Rotana in Fujairah, UAE, is a highly responsible role focused on driving revenue growth, maximizing business opportunities, and delivering exceptional service across the assigned portfolio. The Sales Manager is responsible for the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from identifying prospects, generating leads, and developing sales strategies, to negotiating contracts, closing deals, and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with clients. The role involves comprehensive coverage of all account levels, including managerial and departmental executives, ensuring that each client receives tailored service to meet their needs and expectations. The Sales Manager works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment between sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and operational capabilities. Additionally, the role requires continuous market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities, adapt sales strategies, and recommend actionable improvements. The position emphasizes excellence in client engagement, superior customer service, and the ability to understand and anticipate guest needs, ensuring that Rotana’s hospitality services are presented professionally and persuasively. The Sales Manager also maintains meticulous records of account activities, monitors progress against targets, prepares sales reports, and provides strategic insights to senior leadership to support decision-making. A strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales objectives, up-selling opportunities, and optimizing revenue is critical, alongside the promotion of brand standards and alignment with corporate policies and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of assigned portfolio, engaging all account levels for maximum productivity and client servicing.
- Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed assigned targets.
- Establish pricing parameters, quotes, and negotiate terms with customers for transient and group business.
- Promote and generate sales leads within the defined market area for Rotana properties.
- Provide feedback on market trends and competitive conditions derived from direct sales activities, calls, and correspondence.
- Establish and maintain files for major accounts and support superiors in managing the account system.
- Adhere to established selling strategies and maximize upselling opportunities wherever possible.
- Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to align sales initiatives with promotional activities and service delivery.
- Conduct regular reviews of portfolio performance, adjusting strategies to achieve optimal revenue outcomes.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, personalized service, and proactive problem-solving.
Experience & skills
- Hold a degree in Sales or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience, ideally within the hotel industry.
- Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English; additional language skills are an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets through proactive strategies and account management.
- Understanding of hotel operations and service excellence principles.
- Proven experience in client relationship management, negotiation, and revenue generation within a hospitality context.
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform strategic decisions.
