Job description
This role is a key position within the Logistics & Freight vertical, responsible for delivering business impact through initiatives such as business performance improvement, process optimization, and new design solutions across Aramex's global network. The Business Performance and PEX Manager fosters a culture of sustainable change using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, while delivering on strategic objectives of growth, efficiency, and cost reduction. The role demands a strong data analytics foundation, the ability to influence stakeholders, and a focus on continuous improvement and best-in-class operations across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver business impact through Business performance & PEX programs in Logistics & Freight verticals across Aramex.
- Work with teams (Operations, Regional PEX, Finance, Commercial, Digital & HR) to create and deliver value across all Supply Chain assets.
- Develop a problem-solving culture where problems are made visible and fixed at point of occurrence.
- Engage in continuous improvement and transformation to create best-in-class supply chain assets.
- Focus on immediate actions, waste reduction, and create a learning organization.
- Improve profitability and build cost models to acquire new businesses.
- Implement PEX programs for efficiency improvement and benchmarking of resources (Facility, Human capital & Equipment).
- Drive projects to acquire new businesses or retain existing ones, analyze and implement new trends and technologies.
- Support operations facilities for internal and external certifications with central function involvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business impact and service excellence.
- Encourage team members to identify problems and implement solutions.
- Provide continuous coaching to empower teams in solving their own problems.
- Conduct Gemba walks and analyze problems at point of occurrence.
- Design new solutions and infrastructure by evaluating technology trends and preparing business cases.
- Teach and practice Lean problem-solving methods to fix and prevent recurrence of issues.
- Support and promote sharing of best practices across teams.
- Provide support to multiple project teams and communicate updates to management and staff.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Engineering is a must; Masterās degree preferred.
- 9-12 years of relevant experience with a successful track record in Business / Process Improvement.
- Strong background in data analytics, Lean Six Sigma, transformation, or re-engineering.
- Experience in logistics and end-to-end supply chain solution design.
- Exposure to ISO certification, QMS, and other quality assurance programs.
- Data analytics certification with real world use case experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification with multiple business impact projects required; Black Belt certification preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in driving efficiency and cost optimization projects.
- Hands-on experience implementing continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as per project or program needs.
- Experience in presenting recommendations to senior executive audiences.
