Job description
Minimalist.ae, a Dubai-based local luxury brand founded in 2016, designs and manufactures elegant, high-quality watches, jewelry, handbags, perfumes, and leather goods to enhance personal style. With five stores open across the UAE, the brand is recognized for simple yet sophisticated designs, particularly its Arabic numeral watches known for timeless appeal. Minimalist emphasizes simplicity, uses the finest materials, and combines elegant design with excellent quality to produce durable and refined products. The Social Media Manager (SMM), based at the headquarters in Dubai, will handle the complete social media delivery and digital presence of Minimalist, taking ownership of both strategic and operational objectives from ideation and conceptualization through full implementation. The role involves planning quarterly, bi-annual, and annual holistic multi-channel content calendars and social media strategy campaigns focused on user acquisition, engagement, and retention. The SMM will implement, measure, and optimize social media strategy and campaigns, independently translate design concepts and brand ideas into compelling digital content, and create and manage structured content calendars.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and develop quarterly, bi-annual, and annual holistic multi-channel content calendars and comprehensive social media strategy campaigns aligned with brand objectives, focusing on user acquisition, user engagement, and user retention across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and other relevant channels.
- Implement, measure, analyze, and continuously optimize social media strategy and campaigns using social media analytics, ensuring performance improvement across engagement, reach, and conversion metrics while maintaining consistent brand messaging and visual identity.
- Translate design concepts and brand ideas into compelling digital content, independently conceptualizing and producing platform-specific assets, copywriting social media posts and eMail blasts, and ensuring alignment with Minimalist’s luxury positioning and elegant aesthetic.
- Create, manage, and maintain a structured content calendar and asset library by tagging and organizing relevant creative assets, managing hashtags strategically, identifying relevant occasions and promotional opportunities for sales and special offers, and ensuring timely content deployment.
- Plan, send, measure, and optimize eMail blasts using Klaviyo and G-Suite, conduct competitor analysis, market research, and industry research to identify best practices, new trends, and emerging channels, and leverage tools such as Hootsuite and Adobe Suite to enhance campaign execution and overall digital presence.
Experience & skills
- Possess 4 to 7 years of experience in a managerial Digital Marketing position within a UAE-based eCommerce startup or a UAE-based luxury goods, fashion, or watches company, with demonstrated responsibility for full social media delivery, multi-channel campaigns, and measurable digital marketing outcomes.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience managing and executing campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and other social media platforms, including content calendar planning, user acquisition strategies, engagement optimization, user retention initiatives, and performance measurement through social media analytics.
- Exhibit practical experience using Klaviyo for eMail blasts, G-Suite for communication and workflow management, and social media management software such as Hootsuite, with additional exposure to graphic design software including Adobe Suite considered an advantage.
- Show strong competency in copywriting for social media content and eMail blasts, conducting competitor analysis and market research, and identifying industry best practices, trends, and channel opportunities within the UAE luxury goods and fashion landscape.
- Hold ideally a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, demonstrate understanding of Emirati culture and personality to ensure culturally aligned messaging, and possess outstanding communication skills in English (verbal and written), with Arabic language proficiency considered a significant advantage.
