Job description
Al Khor sits 35 minutes north of Doha, and Nord Anglia International School Al Khor educates more than 1,400 local and expat pupils there from age 3 to 18. Primary is mostly four-form entry, with around 750 children aged 3 to 11 following a bespoke curriculum that draws on the English National Curriculum and Qatar's Ministry of Education curriculum. Planning, preparation, assessment, recording and reporting are expected to be of the highest quality and matched to each child's learning and social needs. Student tracking and monitoring processes guide where learning goes next. Technology plays a real part, including teaching in virtual or hybrid settings when needed. A bilingual, internationally minded outlook runs through the school's mission, and you will help children work toward it. Facilities include a modern dance studio and a heated 25m outdoor swimming pool. Candidates need a Bachelor's in education or a degree with PGCE/QTS, at least two years of teaching in international schools and working knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum and UK National Curriculum. Head of Year or middle leadership roles may be open to the right person, and the start date is 1 November 2026.
