Job description
The Senior Asset Integrity Engineer is responsible for implementing, controlling, and monitoring the Asset Integrity Inspection program for QatarEnergy’s Idd El-Shargi asset. This includes maintaining the inspection management database, reviewing processes, and ensuring that asset integrity risks are mitigated and objectives are achieved. The role requires extensive experience in asset integrity management, particularly within the offshore oil and gas industry, alongside expertise in RBI tools, inspection codes, and corrosion management systems.

Key responsibilities
- Implement, control, and monitor the Asset Integrity Inspection program for QatarEnergy Idd El-Shargi asset.
- Maintain the Asset Integrity Inspection management database.
- Review and document processes to demonstrate Fit for Purpose condition with risks mitigated.
- Ensure asset integrity objectives are achieved in alignment with company standards.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in Asset Integrity Management in the Oil & Gas Industry, preferably offshore.
- Experience in the use of RBI software packages and/or integrity data management systems.
- Knowledge of international inspection and compliance codes/jurisdictional codes.
- Multi-discipline skill set and good understanding of engineering design practices and standards.
- B.Sc or equivalent degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Valid certification or working knowledge of API 510, 570, 653, and 580.
- Valid certification in AMPP or equivalent.
- Preferable with Fitness-for-Service assessment and API 580/581 training and experience.
- Well-versed with MS Office and computer skills.
- Fluent in English and capable of running asset integrity related inspection data and corrosion management systems.
