Job description
As a Risk Data Analytics Business Partner at ByteDance in Dubai, you will lead global risk and control initiatives by identifying key risks, designing internal controls, and leveraging data analytics solutions. This role requires a high level of independence, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable insights. You will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the business and play a pivotal role in strengthening the internal control environment and driving compliance through technology-enabled processes.

Key responsibilities
- Independently lead global projects to assess risks, review policies, and map controls to processes.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for enhancement in internal control systems.
- Develop and maintain proactive relationships with key business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the three lines of defence to strengthen controls.
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data analytics solutions for risk monitoring and control effectiveness.
- Stay current with technology and industry trends to anticipate and mitigate emerging risks.
- Provide innovative approaches to detect internal and external fraud or misconduct.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Good understanding of internal control and risk management functions.
- Proficiency in SQL or other data programming tools.
- Experience in dashboard creation and conducting quantitative data analysis.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive risk mitigation strategies.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, risk management, or internal audit.
- Experience in the tech, media, or e-commerce industries preferred.
- Strong project management skills and ability to operate independently in a cross-functional environment.
