Job description
The Cloud Security SecOps Specialist role at PwC in Riyadh supports the implementation, management, and optimization of cloud security solutions across multi-cloud environments. The role focuses on safeguarding cloud-based platforms and applications using technologies such as Microsoft 365 Security, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and Google Security Command Center across Azure, AWS, and GCP. The specialist collaborates closely with PwC’s Managed Cyber Defense and SOC teams to monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts, support incident response, and remediate threats. Responsibilities include supporting identity and access management initiatives incorporating Zero Trust and Identity Governance practices for regulated sectors, contributing to the deployment of cloud-native security controls aligned with CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001, and ISO 27017 standards, and assisting in enforcing cloud security policies aligned with regional regulatory frameworks such as NCA ECC/CCC, SAMA CSF, and UAE ISR. The role also involves preparing technical and client-facing reports and dashboards, integrating security-by-design principles into cloud transformation initiatives, and working with multidisciplinary teams to enhance overall cloud security posture while leveraging automation, DevSecOps concepts, and secure configuration practices.

Key responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts across Azure, AWS, and GCP using Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Google Security Command Center
- Support identity and access management implementations including Zero Trust and Identity Governance practices
- Collaborate with Managed Cyber Defense and SOC teams on incident response and threat remediation
- Assist in developing and enforcing cloud security policies aligned with NCA ECC/CCC, SAMA CSF, and UAE ISR frameworks
- Contribute to configuration and deployment of cloud-native security controls aligned with CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, and ISO 27017
- Prepare technical and client-facing reports, dashboards, and security posture recommendations
- Integrate security-by-design principles into cloud transformation initiatives with multidisciplinary teams
Experience & skills
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Security Suite including Defender for Identity, Advanced Threat Protection, and compliance tools
- Experience with Google Security platforms including Chronicle Detection Language using YARA-L and UDM Query Language
- Understanding of cloud environments including Azure AD, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27017, NCA, CIS Benchmarks, and NIST
- Basic knowledge of incident response processes and cloud risk management
- Awareness of Zero Trust, DevSecOps, and automation in cloud environments
- Foundational understanding of network security and secure configurations
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft SC-900 or Google Cloud Associate Engineer preferred
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are advantageous
