At Johnson & Johnson MedTech, within the Surgery portfolio, the Territory Manager role in Riyadh, KSA operates in MedTech Sales with a focus on Clinical Sales – Surgeons (Commission). The role supports the delivery of surgical technologies and solutions that enable smarter, less invasive, and more personalized treatments, addressing prevalent conditions such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. The position is field-based, with 75% of working time spent in outdoor field activities, responsible for achieving sales and profit targets and eligible for sales incentives and sales commissions. The role completes more complex tasks for Clinical Sales – Surgeons by following established processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables, assists with development and execution of area implementation plans to close key opportunities, and implements objective-driven clinical sales training programs inclusive of strategy, process, and collateral. The Territory Manager updates the sales audit database by entering, verifying, and securing data; leverages strategic partnerships for customer acquisition; reviews customer demands and feedback; responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and services; escalates unusual cases to management; and tracks information from clinical, procedural, and technical discussions. Responsibilities include organizing professional meetings with targeted customers, conducting outdoor field sales through cold calling using AIDINC to sell the product range to corporate clients, generating leads, handling customer queries including quotations and sales follow-up to achieve business plans, maintaining customer relations, ensuring stock availability and optimal product consumption, providing in-service education, case support, and negotiating patient cases with doctors. The role involves servicing and maintaining an existing customer base while developing new avenues of business, organizing documentation to ensure client demands are fulfilled, adhering to the Company’s Code of Conduct, and demonstrating Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo within a business enablement and support context.

- Complete complex Clinical Sales – Surgeons tasks by following defined processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables while achieving sales and profit targets.
- Assist with developing and executing Clinical Sales – Surgeons area implementation plans, activities, and next steps required to close key opportunities.
- Implement objective-driven clinical sales training programs inclusive of strategy, process, and collateral.
- Update and maintain the sales audit database by entering, verifying, and securing sales and customer data.
- Leverage strategic partnerships for customer acquisition and review customer demands and feedback.
- Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and services and escalate unusual cases to management.
- Track and document information from clinical, procedural, and technical discussions for reference.
- Conduct outdoor field sales and cold calling using AIDINC to sell the full product range to potential corporate clients.
- Generate leads, manage quotations, perform sales follow-up, and handle customer queries to achieve the business plan.
- Organize effective and professional meetings with targeted customers and provide in-service training, case support, and negotiation of patient cases with doctors.
- Maintain and grow the existing customer base while developing new customers and business avenues.
- Ensure stock availability, optimal product consumption, proper documentation, and adherence to the Company’s Code of Conduct.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor degree in a medical-related major such as Pharmacist, Medical Science, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Possess a maximum of 3 years of experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical sales.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of key account management principles and tender management knowledge.
- Have preferred experience in the Operating Room (O.R.) environment and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate technical medical knowledge of human anatomy and wound management.
- Be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrate strong record of sales achievement and performance with market and competitor knowledge and market intelligence capabilities.
- Be fluent in English and Arabic, with prior Saudi Arabia or Riyadh experience highly recommended.
