Job description
The Specialist - MRO Systems & Digital Integration is responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and adoption of the Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Operating System (AMOS) into a fully digital Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment in Dubai. Acting as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and software developers, this role ensures the AMOS platform is customized to meet operational, technical, and regulatory needs of the organization. The Specialist manages the entire project lifecycle including planning, business process analysis, data migration, system configuration, testing, and post-launch optimization. The position requires strong expertise in AMOS and its integration with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP, ensuring seamless connectivity with finance, materials, warehousing, and tooling departments. The incumbent leads digital transformation efforts, moving from paper-based work packs to tablet-based electronic work instructions, while ensuring safety, compliance, and regulatory approvals. Responsibilities also include developing KPI dashboards, managing audit processes, ensuring data integrity, and embedding risk control mechanisms into digital workflows. The Specialist is expected to champion user adoption through training, cultural change management, and hands-on support, maintaining compliance with airworthiness and quality assurance frameworks. The role demands in-depth technical understanding of MRO systems, project management experience, and strong collaboration across multidisciplinary aviation and engineering teams.

- Provide hands-on support during user acceptance testing and oversee post-implementation stabilization
- Lead digital transformation from paper-based maintenance work packs to electronic work instructions using tablet-based systems
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulatory standards and airworthiness requirements through policy alignment, audits, and approvals
- Develop automated KPI monitoring systems and dashboard-based reporting tools for performance tracking
- Ensure digital safety and quality defense barriers are functional and effective in AMOS to maintain risk control compliance
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful integration and continuous improvement of MRO systems
- Support audit resolution, ensuring corrective and preventive measures are implemented effectively
- Monitor and evaluate AMOS performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and innovation
Experience & skills

- Strong knowledge of AMOS system architecture, data migration, and integration with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP
- Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools for performance reporting and data visualization
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams through system rollout, configuration, and user adoption phases
- Experience developing digital transformation strategies for maintenance operations
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards for aircraft maintenance and airworthiness
