Job description
The Specialist – Wealth & Bancassurance role at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), based at the Sheikh Zayed Road Branch in Dubai, sits within the Personal, Wealth & Business Banking division and supports the Wealth & Bancassurance proposition within Business Banking. The role is responsible for driving deeper penetration of wealth and bancassurance products across the Business Banking customer base by working closely with Sales & Coverage teams, engaging directly with customers, and generating new business opportunities. The position requires maintaining customer needs as the foundation for all proposed solutions, supported by strong customer profiling, in-depth fact-find analysis, lead generation, and fulfilment capabilities. The role carries responsibility for achieving budgeted financial targets while ensuring full adherence to regulatory, compliance, and legal requirements. This includes delivering monthly and quarterly revenue targets, ensuring full activation of assigned Sales & Coverage team members, maintaining high-quality sales with minimal clawbacks or cancellations, complying with bank sales guidelines, completing all mandatory regulatory training, certification, and assessments, and actively engaging referral teams to build and manage a sustainable sales pipeline. The role also involves organizing and delivering product training, participating in portfolio reviews to identify opportunities, and maintaining ongoing engagement with customers through product updates and end-to-end fulfilment of customer queries related to wealth and bancassurance propositions.

Key responsibilities
- Engage with Sales & Coverage teams to drive penetration of Wealth & Bancassurance products within the Business Banking customer base
- Achieve monthly and quarterly budgeted revenue targets through new sales and customer engagement
- Ensure full activation of assigned Sales & Coverage team members to support wealth and bancassurance sales
- Maintain high-quality sales outcomes with minimal leakage from clawbacks or cancellations
- Adhere strictly to all bank-defined sales guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Complete all mandated regulatory training, certifications, and assessments
- Engage referral team members regularly to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Organize, coordinate, and deliver product training sessions to enhance product awareness among team members
- Participate in portfolio reviews to identify and convert new business opportunities
- Build accurate customer profiles through need analysis and in-depth fact-finding for each customer interaction
- Engage existing customers on an ongoing basis by providing product updates and ensuring end-to-end fulfilment of customer queries
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management for SME customers within the UAE
- Demonstrate a proven track record in customer profiling, lead generation, and sales fulfilment within wealth management
- Hold CII Level 3 and CISI AWB certifications, with CFA considered an advantage
- Demonstrate excellent multilingual communication skills, with English as a minimum requirement and Arabic fluency as an advantage
- Have access to a means of personal transportation
- Demonstrate ability to meet financial targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal standards
