Job description
This role owns the technology strategy for major enterprise accounts, partnering with an Enterprise Account Executive to steer customer AI and cloud transformation. Acting as a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO-level stakeholders, the strategist synthesizes industry and business insights, identifies customer needs, and builds shared plans aligned to business outcomes. Responsibilities include designing multi-horizon roadmaps, driving cloud consumption, orchestrating large cross-functional v-teams, enabling solution execution across Azure and the broader Microsoft stack, and influencing customer adoption of modern digital approaches. The role leads strategic account planning, creates technology-driven change cases, drives technical governance, mitigates blockers, manages executive-level escalations, and ensures delivery quality. It requires deep technical breadth across cloud workloads, strong business acumen, and the ability to challenge and shape the customerās long-term technology direction.

Key responsibilities
- Build and manage strategic relationships with senior customer stakeholders and technical leaders
- Identify customer business outcomes and translate them into shared multi-horizon technology roadmaps
- Lead account-level consumption planning and drive execution toward cloud and AI adoption targets
- Partner with account executives to shape strategic opportunities and define the case for change
- Orchestrate large cross-functional Microsoft v-teams across solution areas, sales, delivery, support, and partners
- Drive execution of support programs, success engagements, and solution deliveries
- Mitigate blockers to customer cloud consumption and ensure operational and solution health
- Lead escalation management for critical issues in partnership with support and incident managers
- Act as a technology advisor with enterprise-wide architectural understanding across cloud solution areas
- Provide industry-relevant insights and influence customersā modernization strategies
- Contribute to corporate customer success strategy and align with portfolio performance goals
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
- 4ā8+ years in technical consulting, pre-sales, technical account management, or digital transformation
- Experience driving technology-enabled business outcomes for enterprise customers
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures, AI solutions, and enterprise IT landscapes
- Ability to influence C-level stakeholders and navigate complex customer organizations
- Proficiency in opportunity qualification, account planning, and consumption-driven sales motions
- Experience orchestrating multi-disciplinary technical and business teams
- Strong communication, executive presentation, and relationship management skills
- Experience in customer industry verticals (4+ years)
