Job description
The Wellbeing Associate Specialist role in Abu Dhabi supports the Employee Engagement & Wellbeing Manager by implementing and managing employee wellbeing programs, staff engagement initiatives, and charity-related activities within the organization. The role involves reviewing charity-related requests through HR systems, validating documentation, preparing employee profiles for the charity committee, shortlisting requests, and executing committee decisions including communication, document collection, and payment execution. The position is responsible for organizing staff wellbeing draws, raffles, and competitions including preparing approval memos, conducting data extraction, setting up draws, distributing rewards, and administering monthly competitions. The role also manages the Umra Trip program including vendor sourcing, announcement preparation, eligibility data preparation, conducting draws, communicating with employees, ensuring seat allocation, and coordinating visa requirements. Additionally, the role includes preparing and analyzing quarterly turnover reports covering FTEs and employee experience metrics, producing turnover presentations, summarizing employee experience insights, and providing management recommendations to improve employee retention and satisfaction. Responsibilities extend to coordinating wellbeing campaigns across departments, organizing logistics, assessing employee needs through meetings with workgroups, promoting wellness initiatives through marketing collaterals, and supporting HR sustainability initiatives. The position requires experience in employee engagement, staff wellbeing, customer experience development, and employee satisfaction programs within a business environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Review charity-related requests in HR systems ensuring required documentation is valid and available and prepare employee profiles for charity committee review
- Shortlist and present eligible charity requests to the committee and execute committee decisions including communication, document collection, and payment processing
- Organize and conduct staff wellbeing draws and raffles including preparing approval memos, extracting and preparing data, setting up draws, and distributing rewards
- Manage the Umra Trip program including vendor sourcing, announcement preparation, eligibility data preparation, conducting draws, employee communication, seat allocation, and visa arrangement
- Prepare quarterly turnover reports including FTE data, employee experience summaries, and turnover analysis presentations
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on employee turnover and engagement data analysis
- Coordinate logistics and arrangements for staff wellbeing initiatives and campaigns across departments
- Conduct meetings with departments and workgroups to assess employee wellbeing needs and support program development
- Administer and manage monthly staff competitions including data preparation and draw setup
- Develop marketing collateral and communications to promote employee wellbeing initiatives and participation
Experience & skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in staff wellbeing, employee engagement, customer engagement, experience development, or satisfaction programs
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Employee Engagement, Sustainability, Social Sciences, Banking, or related fields
- Experience using HR systems for employee request processing and documentation management
- Experience preparing employee data analysis reports including turnover reporting and employee experience analysis
- Experience organizing staff campaigns, events, competitions, and wellbeing initiatives
- Knowledge of vendor sourcing and coordination for employee programs
- Ability to conduct data extraction and prepare reports and presentations
- Understanding of human resources sustainability practices
- Strong communication skills for interacting with employees, executives, and stakeholders
- Ability to handle sensitive employee cases with resilience, empathy, and discretion
