Job description
The Enterprise Architecture Senior Manager role is based in Riyadh and is responsible for executing and operationalizing Enterprise Architecture (EA) governance within a large-scale enterprise environment. The position ensures that architecture principles, architecture standards, and reference architectures are consistently embedded into solution delivery processes and investment decision-making, aligning with the approved enterprise direction. The role involves active participation in EA governance processes, including conducting architecture reviews and performing detailed assessments of architecture proposals to ensure compliance with EA principles, standards, and reference models. The candidate is responsible for governing system changes and new initiatives to ensure adherence to EA standards, while continuously reviewing and monitoring compliance across all projects. The role also includes managing architecture exceptions, including documentation, impact assessment, and escalation processes. A key responsibility is aligning portfolio and investment initiatives with business capabilities and strategic objectives by mapping applications and identifying redundancies, solution reuse opportunities, technology consolidation, and rationalization candidates, while providing data-driven insights to support cost-efficiency initiatives. The position contributes to EA enablement by facilitating the adoption of EA principles, planning and designing processes to improve EA activities, and documenting EA requirements and workflows. Additionally, the role involves creating, maintaining, and managing EA standards, reference models, and EA artifacts in collaboration with domain architects, ensuring that documentation is clear, consistent, usable, and compliant with EA standards. The Enterprise Architecture Senior Manager acts as a key interface between EA governance and delivery teams, supporting communication and collaboration across departments, ensuring that EA standards are understood and followed during project execution. The role requires strong expertise in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, knowledge of cloud services, application platforms, systems integration, and multi-domain architecture, as well as experience working within Agile delivery models and large enterprise environments.
