Job description
Lead and manage a multi-emirate team of Business Banking liabilities frontline through Team Leaders/Area Managers to ensure delivery of the highest level of client coverage, cross-sell and service quality to non-borrowing clients; drive growth of deposits and cross-sell revenues from the portfolio of non-borrowing clients; acquire high-value deposit clients through the Relationship Managers channel; develop business and establish Mashreq as the leading Business Bank brand in the UAE; enhance relationship revenue from existing non-borrowing accounts by cross-selling and up-selling products such as Deposits, Trade services, FX products, Insurance and investments; ensure onboarding is in line with the bankās KYC and AML policy; monitor ongoing transactions to ensure AML and KYC risks are mitigated; undertake industry and company specific research analysis and directly interact with industry participants; lead risk minimization and compliance mandated activities with zero tolerance and delay; train and develop the frontline (hard and soft skills) while managing and maintaining high staff morale to ensure superior service delivery and low staff turnover; set objectives and perform timely reviews to measure performance and identify staff development and training needs; ensure clarity among staff of KPIs and job competencies required to effectively achieve business goals; identify and reward high performers and implement an effective retention program for critical staff.

Experience & skills
- Minimum 15 years SME banking experience, with at least 3 years in the UAE
- Mastery of key product areas such as deposits, FX and Trade
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing large teams
- Minimum graduate degree in any discipline
- Proven ability to ensure onboarding aligns with KYC and AML policy and to monitor transactions to mitigate AML and KYC risks
