The Sales Supervisor (Sales & Distribution and Route Management) at SADAFCO in Jizan, Saudi Arabia operates within the FMCG food and beverage distribution sector, responsible for managing a team of salesmen and supervising sales management and distribution management activities across assigned routes. The role ensures that sales and secondary distribution align with company Sales & Distribution policies while achieving sales targets and KPIs. The position involves sales target planning in collaboration with ASM/BM, guiding and motivating the sales team to optimize route management and operational efficiency. The role requires conducting market analysis and competitor analysis to gather insights across distribution channels and implement corrective actions. The supervisor ensures execution of replenishment systems, maintaining optimal inventory management, product availability, freshness, and shelf life monitoring at points of sale, including rotation and wastage control. Responsibilities include journey planning to optimize route efficiency and maximize productivity, as well as key account management and wholesale management to execute agreements and maintain strong customer relationships. The role also covers customer acquisition through onboarding new clients aligned with sales and distribution strategies. The supervisor enforces credit management and collection management processes to ensure timely payments and compliance with company policies. Administrative responsibilities include data entry, reporting, and daily performance tracking using MSFA (Mobile Sales Force Automation), including endorsements and performance reviews. The role also involves asset management ensuring maintenance of company vehicles and equipment, as well as overseeing people management, training, and development of sales staff in accordance with HR policies. The position requires adherence to operational standards, ensuring professional appearance, and maintaining high-quality service delivery across all sales and distribution activities.

- Supervise and manage sales team through sales supervision, people management, and training to achieve sales targets and distribution KPIs
- Plan and control sales routes using route management and journey planning to optimize productivity and operational efficiency
- Assist ASM/BM in sales target planning and execute sales management strategies within agreed costs and operational parameters
- Conduct market analysis and competitor analysis to gather insights and recommend actions for improving sales and distribution performance
- Ensure execution of replenishment systems, inventory management, and shelf life monitoring to maintain product availability and freshness
- Manage key account management and wholesale management activities by executing agreements and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Drive customer acquisition by initiating and organizing sales activities for new customers in assigned routes
- Implement credit management and collection management processes to ensure timely payments and compliance with company policies
- Perform administration and reporting tasks including data entry and performance tracking using MSFA (Mobile Sales Force Automation)
- Oversee asset management ensuring maintenance of company vehicles and equipment and enforce company appearance standards
Experience & skills
- Hold a minimum high school diploma or vocational degree in business, marketing, or finance supporting knowledge in sales management and distribution management
- Demonstrate minimum 5 years of van sales experience or at least 2 years in a similar sales supervision or sales management role
- Exhibit experience in route management, journey planning, and execution of replenishment systems and inventory management processes
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of market analysis, competitor analysis, and customer acquisition within FMCG distribution environments
- Show proficiency in MSFA (Mobile Sales Force Automation), data entry, reporting, and computer literacy for performance tracking and administration
- Exhibit experience in credit management and collection management ensuring compliance with company financial policies
- Demonstrate capability in key account management and wholesale management with focus on maintaining and building customer relationships
- Show ability in asset management and maintaining operational standards including vehicle and equipment maintenance
- Demonstrate fluency in English with Arabic preferred and meet additional requirements including physical fitness and minimum age criteria
