The Senior Accountant – Revenue role in Abu Dhabi is responsible for performing professional accounting work in accordance with prescribed accounting systems and generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards. The role focuses heavily on Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, revenue accounting, and financial reconciliation within an industrial cluster environment involving investors, government and local authorities, and internal/external audit stakeholders. Key responsibilities include reconciling AR submodule balances with General Ledger accounts in Oracle on monthly and yearly cycles, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data across ERP systems. The role requires preparing and issuing investor invoices, maintaining Statements of Account (SOA), managing financial files, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition for Industrial Zone (IZ) agreements. The accountant reviews Industrial Cluster SMA agreements, terms, clauses, and financial implications, producing detailed financial impact analysis reports. Responsibilities also include reviewing and processing credit notes in compliance with credit policy, maintaining accounting records and subsidiary ledgers, and analyzing and reconciling revenue accounts across multiple data sources. The role ensures cross-verification between system entries and Excel-based financial records, supports Oracle ERP implementation activities including data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and submodule design for financial modules, and participates in enhancements or modifications to the Accounts Receivable ERP system. Additional duties include responding to investor and departmental queries within defined timelines, maintaining accurate documentation and archives, matching cash receipts with bank deposits and invoices, supporting audit documentation, and producing consistent financial reports on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual bases.
