The Senior ICT Engineer (Low Current Aviation Specialist) is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining low current systems for aviation infrastructure to ensure high standards of safety, efficiency, and operational performance within airport environments. The role involves leading the design and implementation of low current systems including communication systems, airport security systems, and air traffic control systems while analyzing and optimizing existing ICT infrastructure to enhance airport operations and passenger experience. The position requires developing and maintaining project plans, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate various airport systems for seamless operations. The Senior ICT Engineer conducts system audits, implements upgrades, and ensures compliance with aviation industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols while providing technical expertise for troubleshooting complex ICT system issues. The role includes staying updated on emerging technologies, proposing innovative solutions for airport infrastructure, developing technical documentation and training materials, managing vendor relationships, coordinating with external partners, and supporting project execution. The position also involves participating in emergency response planning, supporting critical system operations during incidents, and working within multicultural environments. The role requires expertise in ICT infrastructure design and implementation within airport environments, low current aviation systems, system integration techniques, airport security systems, air traffic control technologies, and familiarity with Saudi Arabian aviation regulations and standards.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of low current systems for aviation infrastructure including communication systems, airport security systems, and air traffic control systems ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with aviation industry standards.
- Analyze and optimize existing ICT infrastructure to enhance airport operations, improve passenger experience, and ensure reliability of aviation systems.
- Develop and maintain project plans including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of ICT infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate airport communication systems, security systems, air traffic control technologies, and other low current systems for seamless operations.
- Conduct system audits, implement upgrades, and maintain compliance with aviation industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for complex airport ICT systems including low current aviation infrastructure and integrated systems.
- Develop technical documentation and deliver training materials for airport staff and stakeholders to support system operation and maintenance.
- Manage vendor relationships, coordinate with external partners, participate in emergency response planning, and support critical system operations during incidents.
Experience & skills
- Obtain Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field supporting ICT infrastructure and aviation systems engineering.
- Demonstrate minimum 8–10 years of experience in ICT engineering with strong focus on aviation systems and airport ICT infrastructure.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of low current systems for aviation including communication systems, airport security systems, and air traffic control systems.
- Demonstrate proven expertise in ICT infrastructure design and implementation within airport environments including system integration techniques.
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of aviation industry standards, aviation regulations, and safety protocols for airport operations.
- Demonstrate experience managing complex multi-stakeholder projects including project planning, budgeting, and delivery oversight.
- Possess relevant certifications in aviation systems or ICT such as CCNA or CISSP with experience in airport security systems and air traffic control technologies.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Saudi Arabian aviation regulations, willingness to work flexible hours, support emergency response situations, and operate effectively in multicultural environments.
