Job description
The role creates exceptional architectural solution design and thought leadership to enable delivery teams and drive exceptional client engagement and satisfaction at Wipro Limited. It develops architectural solutions for new deals and major change requests in existing deals, creating enterprise-wide architecture that ensures systems are scalable, reliable, and manageable; provides solutioning of RFPs and overall design assurance; develops a direction to manage a portfolio of to-be solutions covering systems, shared infrastructure services, and applications to better match business outcome objectives; analyzes the technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to set a collaboration solution design framework/architecture; provides technical leadership for design, development, and implementation of custom solutions using modern technology; defines and understands current state solutions, identifies improvements, options, and tradeoffs to define target state solutions; articulates, documents, and sells architectural targets, recommendations, and reusable patterns with proposed investment roadmaps; evaluates and recommends solutions for integration with the overall technology ecosystem; works with IT groups to transition tasks, ensure performance, and manage issues through to resolution; performs detailed documentation (App view, multiple sections and views) of the architectural design and solution with all artefacts; validates solutions/prototypes from technology, cost structure, and customer differentiation perspectives; identifies problem areas, performs root cause analysis of architectural design and solutions, and provides relevant resolutions; collaborates with sales, program/project, and consulting teams to reconcile solutions to architecture; and tracks industry and application trends to inform planning for current and future IT needs. It enables delivery teams by building relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects, and other stakeholders to become a trusted advisor; establishes technical, business process, and support metrics (KPI/SLA); manages multiple projects and reports on major assignments in line with project management standards; identifies technical, process, and structural risks with mitigation plans; ensures quality assurance of architecture/design decisions and provides technical mitigation support; recommends tools for reuse and automation to improve productivity and reduce cycle times; leads development and maintenance of enterprise frameworks and related artefacts; ensures consistent application of architecture principles and standards across projects; supports pre-sales by presenting solution design and principles to clients; negotiates, manages, and coordinates with client teams to ensure requirements are met and to create impact; and demonstrates thought leadership with strong technical capability to win client confidence as a trusted advisor. It drives competency building and branding by ensuring completion of necessary trainings and certifications; developing POCs, case studies, and demos for new growth areas based on market and customer research; developing and presenting Wiproâs point of view on solution design and architecture via white papers and blogs; attaining market referencability and recognition through analyst rankings, client testimonials, and partner credits; being the voice of Wiproâs thought leadership in internal and external forums; mentoring developers, designers, and junior architects; and contributing to the architecture practice through selection interviews. Team management spans resourcing (anticipating talent requirements and hiring), talent management (onboarding, training, career progression, attrition management, and diversity in leadership), performance management (goal setting, reviews, feedback, and ensuring Performance Nxt is followed), and employee satisfaction and engagement (leading initiatives and tracking satisfaction scores).
