Job description
Microsoft is seeking a Finance Manager for Modern Work & Security in the UAE, open only to UAE nationals. This role involves aligning revenue targets with market opportunities, driving adoption of AI Business Solutions and Security Solutions, and providing actionable financial insights to business partners. The Finance Manager will partner closely with leadership, manage financial planning and analysis, ensure compliance, and support business growth strategies across the UAE market.

Key responsibilities
- Perform and review analysis of financial performance, plans, and economic transactions for Modern Work & Security products.
- Understand competitive market insights and provide thought leadership for business growth opportunities.
- Track performance, ensure accurate reporting, and support execution of plans with accountability for results.
- Manage the rhythm of business processes including monthly close, business reviews, and forward-looking views.
- Develop and leverage relationships with customers and partners to bolster consumption, usage, and risk management.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve customer experience.
- Design and negotiate solutions to complex financial issues with customers and senior stakeholders.
- Provide insights and action plans to drive commercial and business leader goals.
- Resolve complex issues through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and manage strategies to mitigate or address macroeconomic and geopolitical risks.
- Drive improvements in data management through automation and advanced analytics.
- Translate financial data into actionable plans and forecasts for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Microsoft policies on risk and compliance.
- Promote a culture of compliance, privacy, security, and ethical standards.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or finance.
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred.
- Analytical skills and business acumen.
- Strategic and critical thinker.
- Proven collaboration and teamwork capability, including virtual engagement.
- Advanced communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- IT/Tech industry experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven ability to influence senior business leaders.
- Open to UAE nationals only.
