Job description
Delivers Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) projects for financial institutions and regulated entities, supporting clients in strengthening governance frameworks, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with evolving UAE regulatory expectations. Leads policy and framework reviews, conducts regulatory and risk assessments, supports Islamic finance governance engagements, prepares reports and presentations, and contributes to client meetings and business development. Mentors junior consultants and ensures high-quality deliverables while staying updated on regulatory trends.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver GRC projects for regulated entities across the UAE and wider region
- Review policies, procedures, and governance frameworks for regulatory compliance
- Design and implement governance structures including charters and compliance programs
- Conduct operational, compliance, and financial risk assessments
- Perform gap assessments against UAE regulatory requirements and global standards
- Support clients on Islamic finance governance and Sharia-compliant requirements
- Prepare detailed reports, risk mitigation recommendations, and client presentations
- Participate in client meetings and support proposal development
- Stay updated on UAE regulatory developments and global GRC trends
- Mentor junior consultants and review deliverables for quality assurance
Experience & skills
- 4â5+ yearsâ experience in GRC, regulatory advisory, or financial services consulting
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or related field
- Pursuing or holding qualifications such as ICA, FRM, CIA, or Islamic Finance credentials (e.g., CIPA)
- Exposure to Islamic finance is advantageous
- Familiarity with UAE Central Bank regulations and GRC best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English; Arabic is advantageous
- Willingness to travel regularly to client sites
