Job description
Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Jumeirah is adding a Cluster Assistant Director of Sales to work alongside its Commercial Team, driving strategic sales initiatives and developing key accounts across the property. Corporate, government, MICE, leisure, wholesale and travel trade segments all fall within scope here, and identifying new business across each of them is central to the job. You'll help shape and execute the hotel's sales strategy toward its revenue and profitability goals, backed by market analysis and competitor benchmarking that flags trends, opportunities and risks. Room revenue, banquet sales and catering revenue all need driving forward, with account production and market performance tracked closely alongside Revenue Management and Marketing to get pricing and business mix right. Leading and mentoring the sales team sits with this role too, from coaching Sales Managers and Executives to running regular sales meetings and stepping in for the Director of Sales when needed. A portfolio of key accounts and strategic clients gets managed directly, through regular client visits, presentations and rate and contract negotiation within approved guidelines. Sales reporting runs through CRM and sales systems, covering forecasts, pipeline performance, conversion ratios and market intelligence, alongside support for budget preparation and expense management. Cross-functional work with Operations, Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations and Events teams keeps confirmed business moving smoothly into execution, including site inspections and familiarisation trips. A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is required, along with 5 to 8 years of hospitality sales experience including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
