Job description
As an Industry Manager for Travel and Tourism at Google, based in Dubai, you will lead strategic relationships with key customers in the Qatar travel sector. Leveraging your expertise in digital media and consultative sales, you will help drive business growth through tailored advertising solutions across Google's product suite. You will develop joint business plans, manage client strategies, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver a unified āOneGoogleā experience. The role requires fluency in English, with Arabic preferred, and a deep understanding of the Qatar travel and tourism market.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage primary relationships with one or more key travel and tourism customers based in Qatar
- Serve as the main point of contact for business strategy, pitching, relationship growth, and opportunity sizing
- Plan for and achieve business targets expected for the team within the assigned customer portfolio in Qatar
- Contribute to customer strategy scoping and manage priorities related to account planning and multi-quarter pipeline
- Influence across internal teams to address customer needs and close agreements
- Bring a cohesive 'OneGoogle' solution to Qatar-based customers
- Create and own joint business plans based on customer objectives
- Foster deeper relationships and ensure progress towards client business goals
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media, or marketing
- Experience working in the travel and tourism industries
- Experience working in the Qatar market
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of Google's products, services, and solutions
- Ability to translate client business needs into business opportunities
- Ability to build relationships within the Qatar travel and tourism industry
- Fluency in Arabic preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
