Job description
The Senior Manager MARCOM MENAT & Qatar at QNB is responsible for overseeing and managing all marketing communication requests across the MENAT region and Qatar. This includes acting as the senior project lead for advertising, branding, merchandising, and PR initiatives originating from various business units, subsidiaries, and branches. The role requires delivery of integrated marketing solutions and campaign management in alignment with the bank's brand strategy and objectives. The incumbent serves as the liaison between Group Communications and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication, timely execution, and brand compliance. Key responsibilities include strategic campaign planning, performance reporting, journey mapping, and developing project charters outlining scope, budgets, and resources. The role also entails receiving and managing MARCOM requests, creating brief documents, work logs, and dashboards, and ensuring all outputs align with QNB’s branding and corporate identity guidelines. The position requires effective communication, stakeholder management, cross-cultural team coordination, and the ability to drive projects from initiation through successful delivery.

Key responsibilities
- Lead campaign management and provide integrated marketing solutions for advertising, branding, merchandising, and PR briefs
- Provide strategic thinking and enable ROI/ROX-based campaigns and direction for supporting units
- Deliver reporting and dashboards aligned with planning and brand strategy AVP and stakeholders
- Develop strategic frameworks and facilitate journey mapping with marketing agencies
- Create project charters outlining scope, plan, budget, risks, stakeholders, and resource allocation
- Act as communication liaison between branches/subsidiaries and the Communications Department locally and internationally
- Communicate customer needs to Group Communications and present recommendations
- Provide regular status updates and briefings to project owners
- Receive, process, and manage MARCOM requests related to branding, merchandising, and advertising
- Ensure all material aligns with QNB’s branding and corporate identity guidelines
- Enhance briefing documents, work logs, dashboards, and action tracking tools
- Translate organizational initiatives into departmental objectives, setting priorities based on resource availability and dependencies
Experience & skills
- Hold a university degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Account Management, preferably with an advertising agency or a regional bank
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills in English; Arabic is preferred
- Exhibit ability to lead teams and follow through on project plans and implementations
- Show capability in planning, organizing, and working with cross-cultural teams
