Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our team in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. As an Income Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records by auditing and verifying revenue transactions across various departments.

Key responsibilities
- Audit and verify all revenue transactions for different departments, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other outlets
- Prepare and distribute daily revenue reports to management and department heads
- Review and reconcile Point of Sale (POS) and Property Management System (PMS) reports with supporting documentation
- Ensure proper authorization and documentation of discounts, voids, refunds, and allowances
- Investigate and report on any discrepancies or irregularities found during audits
- Monitor compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
- Collaborate with Night Audit and Front Office teams to ensure accuracy of daily postings
- Liaise with operational departments for clarification and follow-up on revenue matters
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient auditing procedures
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an auditing or accounting role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Familiarity with hotel revenue processes and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting standards is a plus
