Job description
A zero-incident environment does not happen by accident, and this HSEW Manager, Site Supervision position exists to engineer exactly that outcome across road and infrastructure projects. Health, safety, and environmental management for these projects fall entirely under this role, with compliance to HSE policies, legal regulations, and international standards running through every decision. You will develop, implement, and maintain the project HSE Management System while leading safety teams, inspectors, and officers across all project zones. HSE audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations get conducted regularly, and risk assessments, method statements, and emergency response plans require formal approval before work proceeds. Compliance spans local safety regulations, OSHA standards, ISO 45001, and environmental guidelines, with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions handled directly when things go wrong. HSE orientation, training programs, and competency evaluations keep the workforce prepared, and KPIs, safety statistics, and monthly HSE dashboards get reported consistently. Authorities, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders all need coordinating with to keep safety compliance on track across the site. Building a strong safety culture across the entire workforce ties the whole role together.
