Job description
The Senior Analyst – Application Support at Chalhoub Group is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of enterprise retail and finance applications across Oracle and SAP S/4HANA landscapes. This includes providing advanced L2/L3 functional and technical support across supply chain, retail operations, and corporate finance domains, ensuring seamless integration between ERP systems, omnichannel platforms (OMS, POS, WMS, eCommerce), and finance applications. The role involves managing incident lifecycles, validating deployments, performing post-release checks, and ensuring SLA adherence. The Senior Analyst is accountable for supporting procurement, replenishment, warehousing, store operations, and inventory management, including reconciliation, variance investigation, and accurate posting in ERP and financial systems. The position also covers corporate finance support, including SAP S/4HANA Finance and Oracle GL/AP/AR modules, supporting month-end and year-end closing cycles, budgeting, forecasting, and audit compliance. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting integrations across APIs, middleware, EDI, and SFTP layers, ensuring end-to-end omnichannel flows and data consistency. The role ensures adherence to ITIL processes, security standards, audit compliance, and access control. Continuous improvement initiatives include developing operational runbooks, automating repetitive tasks with Python, Shell, and PowerShell, conducting root cause analyses, and system optimization. The Senior Analyst manages vendor relationships, coordinates system upgrades and patches, translates business requirements into functional and technical specifications, and represents Application Support in cross-functional and executive forums. The role requires deep knowledge of ERP systems, retail supply chain processes, inventory and finance management, integration protocols, monitoring tools, and scripting for automation.
