Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-standard, evidence-based care in emergency settings at KCH
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs under supervision of senior nursing staff
• Ensure all practices align with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) guidelines
• Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies and trauma cases
• Manage wound care and primary closures as required
• Maintain up-to-date patient health records and ensure strict confidentiality
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families
• Support and educate patients and caregivers about health management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital protocols for safeguarding, infection control, and emergency codes
• Administer medications and ensure proper documentation of drug administration
• Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical audits
• Assist with orientation and training of junior nurses and clinical learners
• Manage communication through SBAR and maintain accurate verbal and written reporting
• Ensure patient rights, cultural values, and dignity are upheld at all times
