Job description
The Cyber & Data Analyst (UAE National) role at KPMG Lower Gulf is an entry-level position designed for Emirati graduates interested in cybersecurity and data analytics. Based in Dubai, this role involves working closely with clients to understand business objectives, data challenges, and security requirements. The analyst will conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, support the development of security strategies, frameworks, and policies, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Responsibilities include developing dashboards, data models, and reports that provide actionable insights, assisting in client proposals and presentations, preparing audit documentation, and contributing to internal knowledge sharing. The role also includes staying updated on regional regulatory changes and emerging technologies. This position is part of KPMG’s initiative to empower UAE Nationals, fostering professional development through exposure to high-impact projects in cybersecurity and data transformation across the region.

Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand business goals, cybersecurity needs, and data-related challenges.
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and assist in developing security strategies, frameworks, and policies.

Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Be a UAE National with a family book.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8.
