Job description

Complex, large-scale projects valued at USD 50M-100M or more sit at the center of this Lead Project Manager position, spanning planning, delivery and the eventual operational transition. You take projects from business case development through execution, ORAT (Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer/Acceptance), and into ongoing operations, having delivered at least two full end-to-end lifecycles previously. Strategic direction and governance run throughout, with scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria defined early and tracked closely. Project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans and reporting frameworks get developed and maintained in detail. Performance against milestones is monitored continuously, with corrective actions implemented wherever delivery drifts off course. Multiple internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities and senior leadership, get managed across diverse project interfaces. Governance meetings, steering committees and executive reporting are led directly. Risks and issues get identified, assessed and mitigated proactively, with contingency plans and recovery strategies developed to protect outcomes. Multidisciplinary teams are led and coordinated to keep collaboration and alignment intact, and project managers within the team get mentored to build a stronger bench. ORAT planning and readiness activities are overseen throughout to support a smooth handover into live operations.
