Job description
Every IT change across Mott MacDonald's environment needs a structured, standardised path, and this role owns that path end to end as the IT Process Owner for Change Management. You'll ensure changes are implemented under strong controls, safeguarding IT environment stability while minimising risk and reducing service impact. Governance strengthens under this role's watch, with risk management and process maturity treated as an ongoing project rather than a fixed checklist. Business functions, project teams and operational leaders all get proactive support here, learning to engage the change process confidently rather than working around it. CAB meetings get prepared, led and driven, with structured governance, thorough risk evaluation and clear decision-making running through each one. Proposed changes get assessed for technical, business, security and compliance impact, with mitigation strategies recommended before anything moves forward. The Forward Schedule of Change stays current and visible, and the CMDB gets kept accurate in partnership with IT Asset and Configuration specialists for dependency mapping. Change Management aligns closely with Release and Deployment practices, so changes integrate cleanly into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. KPIs get defined and tracked within ServiceNow Platform Analytics, surfacing bottlenecks and pointing toward automation opportunities.
