Job description
The Mid-Corp Relationship Manager ā VP (Hybrid) at Citi in Dubai is a strategic professional responsible for calling on mid-corporate clients to deepen relationships, proactively owning, responding to, uncovering and anticipating future needs, roadblocks, risks and expectations, and introducing solutions to build and strengthen an effective portfolio. The role works with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative, customized solutions that meet individual client needs, works closely with the Case Manager on on-boarding and retention ensuring appropriate Know Your Client (KYC) and other compliance deliverables are met, identifies cross-sell opportunities to increase share of wallet, maximizes client experience by proactively sharing markets updates, trends and intelligence, and drives innovation in client solutions while executing strategic initiatives launched centrally at Group/Bank/commercial market/EIB levels. The incumbent networks with clients to identify new business opportunities, administrates the credit relationship by coordinating and supervising the entire process, ensures proper application of policies and institutional processes, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi policies/guidelines at all times. The role requires sound knowledge of banking and investment products and processes, advanced credit skills to structure complex credit deals including capital market transactions, advanced Early Warning Detection skills, ability to coordinate multi-functional teams, and the capability to provide advice and counsel related to technology or operations of the business, with significant impact through complex deliverables in a hybrid work arrangement.

- Coordinate with the Case Manager to manage client on-boarding and retention, ensuring KYC and other compliance deliverables are met

- Maximize client experience by proactively sharing market updates, trends and intelligence
- Drive innovation in client solutions and support development of the business where necessary and appropriate
- Execute strategic initiatives launched centrally at Group, Bank, commercial market and EIB levels
- Network with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities
- Administrate the credit relationship, coordinating and supervising the entire process to ensure proper application of policies and institutional processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi policies/guidelines at all times
- Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, safeguard Citigroup, clients and assets, drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhere to Policy, apply sound ethical judgment, and escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency
Experience & skills
- Possess 6ā10 years of experience
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of banking and investment products and processes with a track record of providing sound banking and financial advice and solutions to clients
- Demonstrate advanced credit skills and the ability to structure complex credit deals, including capital market transactions
- Demonstrate advanced Early Warning Detection skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and coordinate multi-functional teams to provide an exceptional client experience
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (e.g., negotiation, consultative skills, leadership)
- Ability to work under pressure while making sound decisions and rapidly identify and communicate key priorities
- Show a proactive approach to strengthening business relationships with clients and delivering a simple, secure and seamless client experience
- Demonstrate passion for creating new business opportunities with existing clients and innovative approaches to meeting client needs

- Hold a Bachelorās/University degree; Masterās degree preferred
