Job description
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operational performance and coordination of city-wide assets within Qiddiya. The role bridges strategic objectives with operational execution, ensuring seamless service delivery, safety compliance, and adherence to guest experience standards. The incumbent will coordinate across command, security, fire & life safety, facilities, and asset teams while driving operational readiness, performance optimization, and continuous improvement across the city ecosystem.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day city operations across multiple assets to ensure efficient service delivery and achievement of operational KPIs.
- Oversee implementation and continuous enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational policies.
- Act as the central coordination point between the City Command Unit, Security, Fire & Life Safety, Facilities, and asset-level teams.
- Monitor operational performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
- Support planning and execution of major events, seasonal activations, and phased asset openings.
- Lead or participate in operational readiness assessments, pre-opening activities, and testing & commissioning processes.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual SLAs and quality standards.
- Prepare operational dashboards, reports, and executive briefings for senior leadership.
- Ensure operational alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 giga-project objectives and best-in-class urban operations standards.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in operations management within large-scale entertainment, hospitality, mixed-use, or urban operations environments.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage complex multi-stakeholder operations.
- Strong understanding of operational readiness frameworks, testing & commissioning, and pre-opening methodologies.
- Experience managing vendors and ensuring SLA compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in the GCC region; familiarity with Saudi giga-project environments is highly advantageous.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, large-scale development environment.
