Job description
The Director of Governance β Residential Development at Qiddiya Investment Company is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and implementing governance initiatives across all residential development projects. The role ensures that projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, upholding the highest standards of governance. The incumbent will provide leadership and guidance to project teams, integrating governance practices into all phases of residential development, facilitating regular governance meetings, collaborating with stakeholders to review governance matters, preparing and presenting governance reports to senior management and the board, identifying and mitigating governance risks, and promoting a culture of ethical behavior and compliance throughout the organization. This role is critical in influencing the development of innovative residential communities within Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement governance frameworks for all residential development projects
- Ensure strict adherence to local regulations, internal policies, and compliance standards, including conducting assessments and audits
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams to integrate governance practices into all phases of residential development
- Facilitate regular governance meetings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to review and address governance-related matters
- Prepare and present detailed reports on governance issues, compliance performance, and risk mitigation strategies to senior management and the board
- Identify, assess, and mitigate governance risks associated with residential projects, ensuring timely resolution of any issues
- Promote a culture of ethical behavior, compliance, and accountability throughout the organization
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree in Business Management, Law, or a relevant field
- 10β15 years of proven experience in governance, compliance, or risk management, ideally within the residential development sector
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices in residential governance
- Exceptional leadership and people management capabilities to lead project teams effectively
- Ability to communicate complex governance issues clearly and concisely to senior management and stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach
- Proficiency in stakeholder management and the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
