Job description
The Senior Manager – Marketing and Sales is responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated marketing and sales strategies to position a sports and entertainment destination as a premier asset. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, increasing footfall, enhancing brand visibility, and securing partnership and sponsorship opportunities aligned with the destination’s strategic objectives. Responsibilities span strategic marketing planning, brand positioning, 360-degree campaign execution across ATL, BTL, and digital channels, and business development initiatives. The role oversees customer segmentation and sales data analysis to guide targeted marketing and sales efforts, supervises content production including photo, video, copywriting, and branded assets, and optimizes the digital ecosystem encompassing the website, booking engine, and social platforms. The position coordinates seasonal campaigns, grand openings, and major events, establishes and reports on marketing and sales KPIs, manages agency, PR, influencer, and digital partner relationships, and oversees CRM-driven personalized and email marketing campaigns. Additionally, the role manages group and corporate sales proposals, represents the destination at trade shows and exhibitions, and prepares and controls marketing and sales budgets. The role includes managerial responsibilities such as contributing to departmental strategy, defining objectives and KPIs, preparing and monitoring budgets, enforcing policies and procedures, and ensuring effective staffing, development, and deployment of team members within the Sports and Entertainment division.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans to achieve destination growth targets in revenue, footfall, and brand visibility
- Manage and evolve brand positioning, tone, and visual identity across all marketing and sales channels
- Oversee execution of 360-degree marketing campaigns including ATL, BTL, and digital marketing activities
- Lead business development initiatives to secure partnerships, sponsorships, and commercial collaborations
- Analyze customer segmentation, visitation trends, and sales data to inform targeted marketing and sales strategies
- Supervise content production including photography, videography, copywriting, and branded marketing materials
- Optimize the destination’s digital ecosystem including website, booking engine, and social media platforms
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, grand openings, and major events with internal departments
- Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators for marketing and sales effectiveness
- Build and manage relationships with agencies, PR firms, influencers, and digital partners
- Oversee CRM database management and execution of personalized and email marketing campaigns
- Manage group and corporate sales initiatives including proposals and presentations
- Represent the destination at trade shows, exhibitions, and business meetings
- Prepare, manage, and control the marketing and sales budget ensuring cost-effective execution
- Contribute to departmental strategy, objectives, KPIs, operational planning, staffing, and performance management
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in leisure, tourism, or entertainment sectors
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen with familiarity in both digital and traditional media
- Exhibit expertise in integrated marketing strategy development and advanced proficiency in sales strategy, partnership development, pricing, and package development
