Job description
TruKKer is the Middle Eastâs first and largest on-demand truck aggregator, revolutionizing the logistics market with technology. As a Safety Officer in KSA, youâll be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all safety-related policies and processes in alignment with national and international regulations. This includes overseeing compliance, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization.

Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct safety training programs and raise awareness among employees.
- Perform regular risk assessments and inspections to identify hazards.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and test emergency response plans for various emergency scenarios.
- Promote safety culture and communicate initiatives and best practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.
- Participate in safety committees to collaborate on safety improvements.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management or similar role.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and NFPA regulations.
- Experience in developing and managing safety programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
