Job description
Wood is recruiting this Sr. Fabrication Site Manager to support a major offshore PMC project for ADNOC Offshore in Abu Dhabi, leading and managing all fabrication yard and site activities under the EPC2 scope. Safe execution, quality compliance and schedule achievement all sit under this role, coordinated closely across project stakeholders from engineering through commissioning. You'll manage fabrication yard operations spanning structural, piping, mechanical and multidiscipline work, ensuring everything stays aligned with approved schedules, budgets and project specifications. Interfacing with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC and commissioning teams keeps project execution running smoothly, while contractor and subcontractor performance, productivity and resource utilization get monitored closely. Fabrication methodologies, work procedures and recovery plans get reviewed and approved where required, driving compliance with ADNOC Offshore and Wood standards, industry codes and regulatory requirements. Leadership extends across site teams, building a strong safety and performance culture while identifying project risks, developing mitigation plans and resolving technical and operational challenges as they come up. Progress reports get prepared and presented regularly to project management and client representatives, keeping everyone aligned on where the work stands. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is required, along with a minimum of twenty years of relevant experience on large oil and gas development projects, including at least five years in a managerial capacity.
