Job description
As a Client Partner - Grocery at Deliveroo, you will manage a portfolio of the companyâs largest and most strategic grocery partners, ensuring long-term mutual growth. The role involves defining and executing joint business plans, leading a small team of Account Managers, negotiating contracts, and driving Deliverooâs annual objectives. You will also contribute to setting the commercial strategy and partner value proposition for grocery, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to maximize partner potential.

Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of Account Managers to pitch, negotiate, and onboard new grocery partners onto the platform
- Define and execute joint business plans for a portfolio of grocery partners
- Deliver Deliverooâs annual objectives for the partner portfolio by tracking plan implementation and controlling expenditure
- Identify interventions to course-correct under-performing accounts
- Work cross-functionally to maximize account potential
- Own contract negotiation and renewal processes with grocery partners to unlock mutual value
- Create an inclusive, multi-functional team culture that drives engagement and high performance
- Support business leaders in setting long-term commercial strategy and partner value proposition for grocery segments
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, business development, or commercial team leadership
- Experience in the grocery industry is required
- Proven track record of revenue growth in account-facing roles
- Ability to define and implement B2B partner-focused plans and develop creative solutions
- Strong structured communication skills, with ability to adapt messaging to different audiences
- Experience managing complex partner portfolios and high-value negotiations
- Team player mindset with ability to drive win-win solutions
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multi-functional teams
