Job description
The Senior Manager Full Price Planning for EMC DTC in Dubai is responsible for driving the profitability and performance of the full-price business across Concept Stores and e-commerce channels. This role encompasses pre-season strategy, OTB planning, in-season trading, inventory and marketplace optimization, margin and revenue maximization, and operational execution. The manager leads the development of seasonal OTB frameworks, partners with buying teams to define range architecture, pricing ladders, and volume plans, and presents strategic recommendations to senior leadership. In-season responsibilities include monitoring sales performance, managing stock levels, implementing markdown strategies, and ensuring alignment with brand and market priorities. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Merchandising teams, driving quick decisions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. Additionally, the role is accountable for establishing KPIs, providing actionable insights, enhancing systems and processes, and leading a high-performing planning team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Advanced analytical skills, strong organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of retail management systems are essential for success.

Key responsibilities
- Lead pre-season financial strategy and OTB planning aligned to topline, margin, and inventory targets
- Collaborate with Buying teams to derive and validate range depth, width, pricing ladders, and volume plans
- Present OTB plans and strategic intent to senior leadership with risk and opportunity assessments
- Forecast optimal stock cover to achieve budgeted net sales while maintaining healthy stock mix
- Manage markdowns and promotional pricing strategies in line with market and global guidelines
- Monitor daily and weekly sales performance to act on fast-selling products and slow-moving inventory
- Partner with Operations to reforecast monthly sales projections and make insight-driven recommendations
- Drive stock allocation and assortment planning to meet sell-through and lifecycle targets
- Lead inventory clearance strategies to maintain optimal stock levels across retail and e-commerce channels
- Provide direction on stock movements, including carryovers and NOOS articles, to maintain channel stock targets
- Analyze trading and marketplace data to identify revenue and margin improvement opportunities
- Implement pricing and promotional strategies to optimize profitability while remaining competitive
- Conduct monthly topline and margin reviews with buying and operations teams to align action plans
- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to streamline trading and inventory management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Buying, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, and Franchise teams to ensure alignment
- Establish and monitor KPIs, provide actionable insights, and deliver regular updates to stakeholders
- Evaluate and develop team competencies, provide guidance and feedback, and promote a high-performance culture
- Drive talent management processes to grow, retain, and develop high-performing team members

Experience & skills
- University degree in Business, Finance, or Merchandising
- 5-8 years of merchandising experience, preferably in retail or DTC environment
- 3+ years of management experience leading teams
- Strong commercial and business acumen with understanding of full-price retail operations
- Advanced analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Experience with OTB planning, markdown management, and inventory optimization
- Proficiency in Retail Management Systems and advanced MS Office
- Ability to forecast, track KPIs, and implement margin and revenue improvement strategies
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Leadership and influencing capabilities to guide cross-functional teams
- Structured, process-oriented, and detail-focused mindset
- Effective communication skills in English
